Project Description:
A facility to accommodate 7,000 personnel for the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Burj Al Arab, Emirates Hotel and Wild Wadi Aqua Park in 25 three storey buildings located on a plot of 100,000 SQ.M. A dedicated Central Service Yard, an additional 600 CU.M/Day Sewerage Treatment Plant, over 1,600 T of Chilled Water HVAC system and 6No’s 1500 Kva transformers provided the services for the facility through an intricate network of below ground supply lines. Extensive sports facilities, soft landscaping and well planned walkways provide for an excellent dwelling environment.

DESIGN AND BUILD
Concept, Planning, and preliminary design were prepared in-house. Convrgnt employed W.S. Atkins & Partners (Overseas) to carryout the design detailing on its behalf on a fast-track basis.
Site preparations involved 58,000 CU. M of soil cutting and re-location of protected trees. This is one of the first projects inDubaito use a load bearing blockwork construction to a height of 3 storeys.
Owner requirements were to handover each building ready for occupation on specific calendar dates - these were achieved in full and the overall project completed ahead of schedule.
